Milestones in the Mountains.

I’m ecstatic that I have the opportunity to share this with you. This was hands down, one of the greatest days of my life. The day I proposed to my life partner and fellow artist (www.jennajonesart.com).
I came up with a plan to surprise her by hiring a helicopter to head into the Tantalus Range for an overnight adventure and to propose. After months of planning, everything was finally coming together as the proposal set into motion. As my partner is also an artist, I wanted to do something memorable and unique for us to look back on for years to come.
We made a surprise stop at Black Tusk Helicopters at the Squamish airport where I had booked us a helicopter ride into the Tantalus mountains. We were whisked high up into the mountains and witnessed an incredible scenic flight over Lake Lovely Water. This was a unique perspective for me as I had just made this trip last year, and caught some shots from the ground level. It was incredible to see everything from a bird’s eye view this time around.
After landing the sights were absolutely unbelievable (the mountains were pretty nice too!) and I got down on one knee… and she said yes! We enjoyed a fabulous charcuterie board and sparkling water way up in the peaks of British Columbia. Then set up our camp for an overnight stay and took some of our own engagement photos before heading out on an epic hike through the Tantalus Range. We hiked along some incredible ridgebacks with views as far as the eye can see.
