One for the books.
"It might be mid-April but winter is in full swing high in the mountains"
This trip marks the icing on the cake of an already amazing season. Leaving spring in the valley bottom to ascend through temperate rain forest back into winter was a welcome sight.
There was great storm riding to be had in the trees and although it might be mid-April but winter is in full swing high in the mountains.
The home run was some of the best tree riding of the season. Abundant snow through old growth woods made this one for the books.
Time to begin the long slog home and back to spring.
